Appointments

Appointments may be made online, by telephone or in person.

Appointments are normally ten minute slots and so if you have a complicated problem, or more than one problem, please request a longer appointment.  The receptionist may request further details in order to arrange this with the GP and telephone you back with an available appointment time.

We try to keep to time but please be patient if someone before you takes longer than planned.

Patients have the right to choose which GP they wish to book their appointment with at the Practice.

You can also book appointments via the NHS App.

Extended Access Appointments

We also offer routine appointments on Saturdays and Sundays at Park Road Medical Centre.

Appointments are available with:

  • GPs
  • Nurses
  • Health Care Assistants
  • Physios

These appointments can be booked via the Reception team.

Urgent appointments

The practice runs an Emergency Surgery every weekday for acute medical problems that need same day attention.

Telephone access

If you require advice, rather than an appointment, the receptionist will take your details to pass onto the GP and a member of team will return your call.

Unable to attend?

If you are not able to attend your appointment please let us know in time so that the appointment can be used for someone else. If you are more than 10 minutes late for an appointment you may be asked to re-book.

If you have a dental problem

Unfortunately we are unable to help if you have a dental problem and so we will ask you to see your dentist. If you are looking for dental care the NHS Choices website can help you find a NHS dentist. For urgent Dental Care please call 111 for the NHS 111 service.
