Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Appeal for The Menston and Guiseley Practice – Can You Help?

Posted by: Mark - Posted on:

“Droplet and faecal spread seem to be the primary forms of transmission of Corona viruses. Either direct contact with droplets coughed at you or onto surfaces that are then transferred to you are the principle concerns in General Practice.” – Royal College of General Practitioners

As you may be aware, there is currently a shortage of PPE for frontline workers and this includes our Practice.

We are asking for anyone with any spare PPE that they are not currently using to consider donating this to the Practice (e.g. those in the building industry).

In particular, we are in urgent need of FFP3 masks and protective clothing.

If you are able to help, please contact us by telephoning the Practice on 01943 873332.

Please share this post to help our appeal reach as many people locally as possible.

Thank you so much for your support.
